Bridging the Gaps Between Mothers & Daughters operates a Giving Intelligence Platform (the "Services") that assists charitable organizations with timely, personalized, and effective methods of outreach to prospective contacts and donors. A reference to “Bridging the Gaps” “BTG” “we,” “us” or the “Company” is a reference to Bridging the Gaps Between Mothers & Daughters and its relevant affiliates involved in the collection, use, sharing, or other processing of Information.
PRIVACY FOR CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS
This section applies to the Non-Personal Information and Personally Identifiable Information we collect and process from our customers who are nonprofits, fundraisers, and marketers (collectively “Charitable Organizations”) that use our Services to research prospective contacts and donors. If you are not a Charitable Organization, the other sections of this policy may be more applicable to you and your data. In this section, "you" and "your" refer to Charitable Organizations.

Third Party Links and websites. Our website may contain links to and from the websites of third parties. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies. Third Party Marketing and Advertising Organizations. Through website cookies, which you may manage through our cookie banner, we may share your information with third party marketing and advertising partners, to provide tailored advertising on our Sites and other websites that you may visit.

This section applies to the Non-Personal Information and Personally Identifiable Information we collect and process from Contacts and Donors. These terms have the following meanings:
Charitable Organizations can upload information concerning their donors, followers, or subscribers to our Services, and these individuals are considered the Charitable Organization’s “Contacts”.
A “Donor” is an individual that donates to an organization. Charitable Organizations may have Contacts who are Donors. We may also receive information about Donors from publicly available sources of information, like 990 filings, census records, social media records, and third-party data brokers. Donors may also choose to opt-in to our Services directly for the purposes of receiving communications from relevant Charitable Organizations.
If you are Contact, please note that we received your information from a Charitable Organization, and the Charitable Organization may use and share your Personal Information for their own purposes. We encourage you to refer to your Charitable Organization’s privacy policy for more information on how your Charitable Organization uses and shares your data.

For detecting and protecting against error, fraud or other criminal activity.

Charitable Organizations. We share publicly available information and information that we collect from third-party sources with Charitable Organizations that may be of interest to you. If you are a Contact and your Charitable Organization has opted into data sharing, or if you are a Donor that has directly opted into our Services, we may also share Personally Identifiable Information uploaded about you by the Charitable Organization with other Charitable Organizations that may be of interest to you.

As a processor for Charitable Organizations. As part of our contract with Charitable Organizations, we allow them to communicate with, and analyze data from, Contacts and Donors. We also provide Charitable Organizations with commercially and publicly available information obtained from Donor’s 990 filings, census records, social media records, and third-party data brokers, to provide Charitable Organizations with prospective contacts who may be interested in their cause. If you are a Contact, Charitable Organizations are responsible for the privacy and security of the Personal Information they collect from you prior to uploading them into our databases. If you are a Donor, Charitable Organizations are responsible for determining the lawful bases for processing your Personal Information and contacting you through our Services.
If you have directly opted into the Services, the performance of your contract or to enter into the contract and to take action on your requests. For example, the processing of your account registration, providing information on your interactions with our platform.
Our legitimate business interests. For example, fraud prevention, maintaining the security of our network and services, direct marketing to you where you have signed up for Services directly, and improvement of our Services.
Compliance with a mandatory legal obligation. For example, accounting and tax requirements, which are subject to mandatary retention periods. We may also collect your Personal Information to record your requests to exercise your rights and to verify your identity for such requests.

Several jurisdictions grant state residents certain rights, including the right to access specific types of Personal Information, the right to learn how we process Personal Information, the right to know whether and how we disclose or sell Personal Information, the right to correct Personal Information, the right to opt out of any sale of Personal Information or limit the use of Sensitive Personal Information, the right to request deletion of Personal Information in certain circumstances, and the right not to be denied goods or services for exercising these rights. Do Not Sell My Personal Information. We are not data brokers and we do not sell your personal information on the open market. However, in some jurisdictions, some of the ways we share information may constitute a “sale.”.
